JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title:                              Branch Performance Manager

Reporting to:                       Franchisee

Hours:                                  Permanent – Full Time

Location:                             Sunshine Coast

Purpose of the Position

The BPM is responsible for managing all aspects of the Mr Rental Store according to Mr Rental systems and procedures.

Reporting to the Franchise Owners, this position’s primary responsibility is managing and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of organisational operations through the provision of effective methods, systems, strategies and outstanding leadership.

Responsibilities & duties

  • Leadership – Co-ordinate, manage, monitor and lead team members in their day to day roles, providing guidance, mentoring, motivation and assistance, leading by example and organising time around their needs.
  • Human Resources –Allocate human resources to enable task performance. Organise recruitment and placement of required team.  Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Coordinate team activities to ensure maximum efficiency. Organise induction and training of new team members. Mentor and discipline team. Manage and evaluate team performance.
  • Sales, Marketing and Customer Service – Maintain excellent customer service at all times and ensures the reputation of Mr Rental in the local community is exemplary.  Handle customer enquiries and complaints. Plan and implement marketing and advertising campaigns to maximize business.  Process sales enquiries according to Mr Rental  systems and procedures
  • Best Practice –Monitor and ensure adherence to all rules, regulations and procedures. Support and implement OH & S procedures. Exercise duty of care and adhere to Mr Rental procedures.  Maintain a safe and secure working environment. Inform and instruct team of any compliance updates.  
  • Administration – ensure administration procedures are being adhered to and conducted effectively and efficiently according to Mr Rental systems and procedures. Maintain computer network with updates, virus checks & maintain records.
  • Reporting - Analyse and monitor internal processes through available reports  - Activity by Source Report, KPI Report, Customer Overdue Report, Stocktake Report, Filter Report, Business Development Review, Business Plan, Budget and Marketing Schedule
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time as directed by Management.

Education; Experience & Skills

Essential

Desirable

Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role preferably in the Retail/Service Sector

Certificate IV in Small Business or similar qualification would be advantageous

Proven experience in people management to ensure task performance

A sound understanding of marketing principles would be advantageous

A high standard of customer service skills

Considers themselves `I.T. Savvy’

Proven demonstration of excellent leadership skills

High Standard of written and verbal communication skills including correspondence, emails, and  management documentation/reports etc

Knowledge of legislative requirements including Workplace Health & Safety

Experience at working both independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment

Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Persuasive, encouraging and motivating

Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial in this role

Energetic, determined, hardworking and able to work in a diverse environment

Strong Interpersonal and Delegation Skills

Stress Tolerant

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills

Police Check

Open License with no infringements for past 2 years.
